As a Christian it's important for me to share my faith, not only with those I come into contact with through conversation, but also with anyone visiting my website. I enjoy sharing my love of painting with you all; but far more important is sharing my love of Christ...........

I'm a Bible believing Christian, which basically means I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God. It teaches us that sin entered the world when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God our creator. Since then God has made a way to bridge the gap of seperation from Him, paying the ultimate price for our sin when God sent his Son Jesus Christ who is God to Earth to die on the cross for our Sin.

Myself along with countless other Christians around the globe have simply asked Jesus into our hearts. I've asked for his forgiveness, invited him into my life as my Lord and Saviour and I live day by day doing my best to please him in all that I do. As a human this is impossible to achieve without Gods help and being a Christian doesn't mean I get things right all the time; far from it. But God is a forgiving God who knows our weaknesses and forgives us when we mess up and do things which ultimately go against Gods Word and what's best for us. Being a Christian also means eternity with God when we die and that to me is priceless and the best gift anyone could ever recieve.

God sees the bigger picture. It's difficult even as a Christian to understand why bad things happen to good people. Being a Christian doesn't make us immune from tragic circumstances, illness and loss. Sometimes prayers are answered the way we want them to be; but sometimes we don't see the outcome of prayer that we'd like. This however doesn't mean God isnt in control or doesnt know what He's doing. Our time on this Earth is only a flicker in time compared to eternity. I therefore trust God whole heartedly with my life now and always.

Where to start learning about God and what I've mentioned above? Well, reading God's word is a good place to begin; finding a local Bible believing Church where you can hear more about what's written in the Bible and what God would like to say to you. It's also a place where you can meet with Christians who can offer more guidance, understanding and friendship.

I am so thankful that I know God and that it was my choice to have a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I have chosen eternity with Him, rather than the reality of seperation (Hell) without Him. Once you have a true faith and knowledge of Christ living within you; the assurance of what you believe is just there and you know it to be true. Being accepted by God and talking freely, frankly and personally with the maker of Heaven and Earth who created all things and continues to create is just amazing!
