I am a British artist from the Suffolk county town of Ipswich, England. My interest in painting began during my teenage years as a hobby, and later on progressed to a more advanced level as I explored different mediums and styles, whilst painting scenes from around the Suffolk countryside.
In 2013 I acquired a collection of black and white postcards featuring WWII aircraft. This inspired me to paint my first military aircraft, bringing colour to one of the old postcard scenes. The painting revealed a more detailed and realistic approach with realism becoming my preferred painting style.
Although I paint a variety of subjects; since turning full time professional I have continued to specialise in military aviation, depicting aircraft found throughout history and today.
With a passion for detail, I create compositions which portray subjects accurately and in a way that is highly detailed and visually engaging. My desire is to create art that people can admire, enjoy and pass down to future generations.
