SILENT AUCTION
1st to 30th June 2026
Thank you for visiting this silent auction page hosted by Emeny Art (artist Matthew Emeny), on behalf of Mike Humphreys, crew member of the 2025-26 Clipper Yacht race around the world!

This silent auction is for the sale of 10 fine art limited edition prints; produced from the original painting by artist Matthew Emeny titled "Into the Blue". The painting was commissioned by Mike Humphreys who is joining the crew in the US for the remainder of the race. The scene features Clipper yacht team GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) who are the crew/yacht sponsors.

The aim of the auction is to raise as much money as possible from each print sale; with 100% of the monies (less costs) going to the charity.

There are only 70 prints produced in total, and it is prints 2 to 11 which are be auctioned during June. Each of these 10 prints are being signed by the crew when they arrive in Portsmouth at the end of their race; hopefully to be crowned the winners! Prints are also individually signed, numbered and dated by artist Matthew Emeny. A certificate of authenticity will also accompany the prints.

Taking part and placing bids is a fun and straightforward process. Full details can be found further down (including print specifications); but first please have a read about the work of Great Ormond Street Hospital and why it is important to support them through money raising efforts such as this......
ABOUT GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), are a world-renowned paediatric hospital leading in over 60 clinical specialities, who go above and beyond helping seriously ill children. They are one of the world’s leading centres for paediatric care and research, with expertise in rare and complex childhood conditions.
Despite the NHS funding the day-to-day running of the Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital has always depended on charitable support to make it extraordinary. They depend on supporters, fundraisers and partners to enable kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses.
They have achieved groundbreaking advancements in areas such as gene therapy, rare genetic diseases, and regenerative medicine—pioneering treatments that are often unavailable elsewhere. They believe no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
As a leading centre for paediatric healthcare, GOSH collaborates with top research institutions worldwide, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in paediatric medicine. Through pioneering clinical trials and innovative treatments, GOSH continues to enhance the lives of children globally, solidifying its reputation for medical excellence and research success.
GOSH treats some of the rarest and most complex conditions in the world — diseases so specialised that, without GOSH Charity’s efforts to find treatments, they would likely be overlooked by the pharmaceutical industry due to high costs. As a result, children around the world would be left facing devastating illnesses with no hope of a cure.
With your support; bidding as much as you can afford, you will help GOSH to continue going above and beyond by funding groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment and the creation of child-centred facilities to help save more young lives, and essential support services that help save childhoods too.
All the above is the reason we'd love to see a significant amount of money raised from each print.
