Featuring Short Stirling MG-V, W7445 of No.7 Squadron R.A.F Oakington, Cambridgeshire, England. Circa 15th November 1941. Depicted loading for a mission to the Port of Kiel; a key manufacturing facility and Port for German U-Boats.
Unable to take off successfully, struggling to gain height, the Stirling crashed into an Orchard close to Westwick Farm House, England. All but three crew members lost their lives in the crash; with a local farmer rescuing two of the injured crew.
